Certified Natural Diamond (Heera): What to Verify
The single most important line on a diamond certificate is whether the stone is natural or lab-grown — this must be stated explicitly by a recognized independent laboratory, not left to inference. Beyond that, the certificate should report the standard 4Cs (color, clarity, cut, carat) and disclose any additional treatments, such as HPHT color enhancement, laser drilling, or fracture filling, which affect value separately from the natural-vs-lab-grown determination.
